The Church has always believed in the power of prayer for healing — physical, emotional, and spiritual. Jesus healed countless people during His ministry, and He promised that those who believe would lay hands on the sick and they would recover (Mark 16:18).
Lord Jesus Christ, you said: "Ask and you will receive." I come before You now with humility and faith. I ask for Your healing touch upon [name], who suffers from [illness]. You are the Divine Physician. Nothing is impossible for You. If it is Your will, restore health and strength. Give wisdom to doctors, patience to caregivers, and peace to all who love him/her. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You bind up the brokenhearted and heal their wounds. I bring before You the pain, anxiety, and sorrow that weigh on my heart. Heal the wounds of the past that still affect me. Free me from resentment, fear, and unforgiveness. Pour Your peace into my soul. Let me experience the freedom of Your healing love. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Merciful God, I have sinned against You and against my neighbor. Cleanse me with the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Heal the damage my sins have caused in my soul and in my relationships. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation. Amen.
Stay with me, Lord, for it is necessary to have You present so that I do not forget You. You know how easily I abandon You. Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak and I need Your strength so that I may not fall so often. Stay with me, Lord, because You are my life, and without You I am without fervor. Amen.
Lord, I lift up [name] to You. You love them even more than I do. Surround them with Your healing presence. Give them strength, comfort, and peace. Heal what is broken, restore what is lost, and renew their hope. I entrust them to Your merciful love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
You do not have to pray alone. Submit your prayer intention to our community, and we will carry it to the Lord at daily Mass. Your intention is remembered at the altar and lifted up in union with the Holy Sacrifice.
Send us your prayer intention and our community will pray for you. Every intention is carried to the altar.
